Log In FAQ
Q: I'm typing in my username and password, I still
can't get logged in.
A: Make sure you are using your entire
email address, including the @ symbol and
the ".com" or ".net" at the end.
Q: It says my password is incorrect, but I know
that it's correct.
A: Make sure you have your "Caps Lock" key
off. Passwords are case-sensitive. If you are still
having trouble, we can
send you your password.
Q: The program says I don't have cookies turned
on, but I do.
A: Your computer may be storing a cookie from a previous
login. Search for your Cookies folder, delete any vgm.com
cookies, close all browsers and re-open them to start
again.
Q: How do I turn on the cookies?
A: This depends on the browser version you have on your
computer. If you are using Internet Explorer, you would
click on Tools and then on Options at the top menu bar.
Then you would see either a "Security" or
a "Privacy" tab, which will direct you to
override cookie handling for this site. If you are using
Netscape Navigator, click on Edit and Preferences at
the top menu bar. Click "Advanced" in the
Category window, and look for Cookies properties. After
changing your settings, close all your browsers and
open them to start again.
Q: I tried to login, but it keeps bringing me back
to the log-in page.
A: Try clicking on one of the member pages. You may
already have access, but due to the circumstances, may
have "lost" your destination page.
Q: I've tried everything here, but I'm getting a
different error message, or no error messages. Where
can I get more help?
