| THE purpose of this assembly is to set U. S. REHAB Technicians aside from the rest of the Industry, to form an elite National group of Assistive Technology Technicians to acquire the knowledge it takes to do the job in an efficient and timely manner. This program is developed for the service technician who has been working with power rehab equipment for a minimum of one year. This program will expand and strengthen the experienced rehab technician’s depth of knowledge and skill. Classes are limited to assure top quality one-on-one intensive training. Classes and test are limited to paid attendees only, no visitors will be allowed.
POWER
WHY power? Power chair repair is one field that we as specialists must master. The technique is the same; the products are always changing. The manufacturers are asked to relay their most common problems and to prepare us for situations that can be dealt with in a timely manner. These technical tips will allow us to gain confidence in the products. Power is no mystery, yet it eludes us many a time when the clock is ticking and the pressure is on us to perform. This 3-day seminar will show the common ground that they all have from batteries to electronical troubleshooting.
TESTING
TESTING - Each manufacturer has assembled an open book questionnaire that is full of real life situations (case studies if you will). The object is to teach you how to deal with the problem in a time efficient manner.
HANDS ON – This timed replacement parts test is intended to cover everything covered during the training and how to efficiently do the task by using the correct tools.
